Sacred Ground is a sensitive, prayerful resource that creates space for difficult but respectful and transformative dialogue on race and racism.
The program will
- be held in eleven sessions
- begin on January 18th
- meet every other Wednesday at 6-7:30pm CST (7:00 - 8:30pm EST) with a alternate session for Clergy during Lent
- meet via Zoom
- expect video/reading preparation for each session (maximum of 90min video, average of 35 pages)
Sacred Ground is hosted by Christ Lutheran Church in Valparaiso, IN and the Indiana-Kentucky Synod, ELCA Racial Justice team, but participation is very much welcome from beyond this congregation and Synod.
When registering, addresses are optional, but please do provide a mobile number so that we can be in touch if there are difficulties connecting with Zoom!
There is a registration limit of 80 participants.
