“Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all you lands!
Serve the Lord with gladness, come into God’s presence with singing!”
Psalm 100
For hundreds of years the gift of music has been an integral part of the Lutheran church, and the joy of singing hymns and psalms in praise to God has been an important part of our worship. The various musical ensembles at Christ Lutheran Church find great joy in bringing God’s Word to our congregation and its visitors and helping to lead them in worship and praise.

Sanctuary Choir
Open to anyone in high school thru adults, the sanctuary choir assists in leading the congregation during Sunday morning worship, as well as special services throughout the church year (Ash Wednesday, Christmas Eve, Maundy Thursday). They sing a variety of anthems – from classical to contemporary to spirituals, and alternate between the 8:00 am and 10:30 am worship services. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm. For information, contact our Director of Music Ministries Brian Bartusch using the form below.
Celebration Ringers Handbell Ensemble
This ensemble is open to high school age thru adults, and provides uplifting and meaningful music at various times throughout the year. They ring a 3-octave set of Schulmerich handbells and rehearse on Thursday evenings from 6:00 – 7:00 pm. The ability to read music is helpful, but not required – just an interest and joy in making great music. Contact Brian Bartusch, using the form below, if you are interested.
Youth Handbell Ensemble (formerly known as the ‘Treble Makers’)
This newly formed ensemble is open to children and youth in grades 3 – high school. They ring at various times of the church year, and rehearse on Sunday mornings from 12:00 – 12:30 pm (after our 10:30 am worship service). Like the Celebration Ringers, the ability to read music is helpful but not required to participate. Contact Brian Bartusch , using the form below, if your child has handbell experience or is interested in joining.
