Make the switch: step-by-step

Computers can be complicated!  Here are detailed instructions to guide you through.

  1. Log in using the "Give" button in the menu at the top of the page, or click here (it will open in a new window so you still have these instructions).
  2. Click the “person” icon at the top right of the screen, then click “Sign in.”
  3. You will be taken to a page that says “Let’s Get Started.”  You can sign up for Subsplash using email, Facebook, or Apple.  Choose one of these options and follow the prompts to set up your account.
  4. Click on the amount field (you’ll see a big $0), and enter the amount you would like to give.
  5. Click on the frequency for your donation.  The options are one time, weekly, monthly, every two weeks, and twice per month.
  6. Click on the date that you would like your donation to begin.  The system will default to the current date, but you can change that by clicking on the date (it will be blue).
  7. Click “Next.”
  8. Enter your payment information.  You can use either a credit or debit card or enter your bank account for an ACH withdrawal.
    • Note that if you choose an ACH withdrawal, Subsplash must perform a verification before your gift can be processed.  They will make two microdeposits (less than $1.00) into your account.  You will need to obtain the amounts of these deposits and enter them into Subsplash to verify your account.  The next time you log into Subsplash, you will see “Verify” next to your payment method.  Click that button, and you will be prompted to enter the amounts of those two microdeposits.  Once you’ve done this, your payment method is set up and your transaction will begin to process.
  9. Subsplash automatically defaults to the Operating Budget.  If you would like to donate to another fund, click on ‘Operating Budget” and you’ll see a menu of other options.
  10. Next, you’ll have the option to cover processing fees, if you choose to do so.  Subsplash will tell you the amount that the church will pay to process your gift, and you can choose to cover that amount.
  11. The last step is a memo box, where you can communicate any additional information.  For example, if you are making a memorial donation, you can enter the memorial information here.
  12. Click the purple “Give” button, and you’ve made your donation!
