Cornerstone (9th – 12th grades)
We meet on Sunday evenings from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, with an optional dinner at 5:30pm! Our dinners are often cooked by families and members of the church as a way to show love and support to the high schoolers! If you are visiting for the first time, this will be a great time to get to know people and feel more comfortable!
Cornerstone consists of games, activities, a conversation about the Bible, and small group discussions where we explore and continue the discussion. We end with a time of prayer, reflection, and worship. The goal of our nights at Cornerstone is to grow closer to God and grow closer as a community.
We are a group of passionate young people seeking to learn more about God and become faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. We are all walking this road together, so why not walk with friends? All are welcome to experience an evening with us!
Service Projects and Mission Trips
Cornerstone, as a group, serves the church and the world in various ways, including:
Serving the men’s shelter at CLC during the summer months, with intake, meal prep, gathering supplies, and cleaning / Lawn care for people with physical limitations / Sending care packages to college students (in many cases, old friends!) / Local service projects with various organizations and ministries / Annual missions trips
